I don't see a seat height posted...I am thinking about these for a dining room and wondering about if they might be too low....

The chairs are available with Casters or Glides. Depending on your seat-height adjustment option, the seat heights are the following:

Casters with manual seat-height adjustment: 17 - 19.25"

Glides with manual seat-height adjustment: 16 - 18.75"

Casters with pneumatic seat-height adjustment: 17.25 - 22.25"

Mirra Chair

My Mirra Chair was just delivered. It does not have an adjustment for the seat depth. How can I get this feature on my chair? Thank you.

Most Mirra Chair models offered on the Herman Miller Store include our FlexFront adjustable seat depth option. With this option, you will see a handle under the front of your seat. To adjust depth, pull up on the handle then lift or push down the front edge of your seat to your desired seat depth. Your thighs should be comfortably supported and the front edge of the seat should not be pressing against your legs.

Is the Envelope Desk height adjustable? If yes, what is the range and how do you do it?

The Envelop Desk is adjustable and allows you to adjust the desk height from 25.5" - 31.5." Envelop has a pin height adjustment, so using a ratchet with a 3/16" socket, remove the Cap screws and adjust raise or lower the desk surface to your desired height. Once the holes are lined up on the leg support and tube, replace and tighten the Cap screws.

Mirra Chair

What kind of casters are available and what do they look like?

I have an Aeron in my office that I bought years ago and I'm not sure which casters it has. Now I'm considering getting a Mirra for my home office, where there's fairly thick carpet. What kind of casters can I get that will not mark/damage the carpet?

The Mirra Chair has two different caster options available and both are suitable for carpet. You can choose to order your Mirra with the 'Carpet Casters' option or with 'Hard Floor or Carpet Casters.' Either option will work well on carpet, and the second option will give you flexibility to use your chair on both hard surfaces and carpet.

Required height for high desk.

My current seat height to floor is 50cm which i find painful on the arms, neck and shoulders as my chair isn't high enough.

The underside of my desk to the hard floor measurement is 78cm.

Warranty on fabric

What is the warranty on the fabric and does it include the fabric wearing out?

The warranty for the Embody Chair is a 12 year warranty. It covers everything - including electrical components, casters, pneumatic cylinders, tilts and all moving mechanisms. It also covers any defects in materials or workmanship for the fabrics. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear to the fabric, or any damage resulting from soiling, stains, dye transfer from clothing or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
