Designer: Studio 7.5. Material innovation gives the Setu chair its unique combination of flex and strength. The Kinematic Spine uses two types of polypropylene to control resistance as you recline and support your weight, without a tilt mechanism. More structural element than textile, the Lyris 2 suspension seat and back conform to your contours and aerate your body as you sit comfortably.
Early on these were shown in a stool configuration. Is there still a possibility that could happen?
We are not currently offering a stool version of the Setu Chair, but anything could happen in the future! In the meantime, we do offer the Aeron Chair with a stool version. You can see the Aeron Stool here:

Does the height of the cabinets include the legs?
The Nelson Basic Cabinet Series Large Cabinet is 34 inches tall from the top of the cabinet to the top of the legs. From the floor to the top of the cabinet, the height is 39.5 inches.

Can the Hang-It-All be used for wet towels?
I'd love to put this in the bathrooms in my house. Will damp conditions be a problem? How about direct contact with wet towels? How many towels (bath size) could a Hang-It-All accommodate?
The Eames Hang-It-All can hold approximately ten bath towels, although we would not recommend putting damp towels on the Hang-It-All. The balls are made of solid wood with a painted finish so it is best to follow proper care and maintenance for wood surfaces to ensure quality over time.

What do the tilt options mean?
What is the difference between Standard Tilt and a Tilt Limiter?
The Standard Tilt allows you to adjust the tilt tension, which gives you control over how much resistance you will feel when you tilt your chair. It is essentially how easy or hard it is to tilt back in your chair.
The Tilt Limiter option allows you to adjust the tilt tension and also select a back recline range from four settings with a simple lever adjustment. Once you choose one of the four tilt range settings with The Tilt Limiter, the chair will not recline past the setting's tilt range. This allows you to set your chair to recline to the angle that is most comfortable for you. You can change the tilt range at any time.

Eames Molded Plastic Armchair Rocker Base
Designers: Charles and Ray Eames. A classic piece of mid-century furniture. The first mass-produced plastic chair. And as stylish today as it was when it was designed in 1948. A multitude of color choices can be combined with a base in chrome or black and rockers in maple or walnut.
Do you sell the rocker base separately as a replacement part?

Does this chair also give support in the arm rest for those dealing with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
I just attended the CUSP conference and saw Yves Béhar, so I am submitting this question. I, like many, am at the computer for long hours and have recently found out that I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (along with lower lumbar problems) from being seated in chair that doesn't give my arms and hands the proper support. While there are many ergonomic supports like keyboards, pads, etc... on the market to help with this, I can not find any chairs that are constructed to support the arms and wrist as well. Now that I am dealing with this, it's kind of shocking to realize that this is not anywhere (at least no where I can find) this doesn't yet exist. Does the SAYL Chair also give this type of support to the arms and wrist as well as the back? A quick search on the internet will confirm how vast the number of people dealing with CTS is - and would be eternally grateful for a chair that could help with this problem.

You can also choose to order the chair with the Adjustable Lumbar Support for added back support while in the upright and reclined seating positions. For a person with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, we would recommend choosing the Fully Adjustable Arms, which will allow you to move the arms horizontally, vertically and forward/backward.
