The Molded Plastic Armchair was designed on the principle of adaptability, offering innumerable configurations to serve a wide variety of applications and environments. It’s what makes it a classic worthy of museum collections—and living rooms, laundromats, lobbies, and cafés. In addition to boasting a soft matte texture and notable durability, the polypropylene shell is also 100 percent recyclable. The Molded Plastic Armchair is available in an array of colors, as well as in numerous upholstery and base options.
Can the eames molded plastic chair go outdoors?
I am wondering how this chair will do outdoors? I am interested in the black coated 4 leg option and am wondering if it would rust quickly or not.
The Eames Molded Plastic Chairs are designed for indoor use and are not designed to sustain the elements of an outdoor environment.
We do offer other colored, plastic chairs that are suitable and tested for outdoor use, such as the Air Chair or Chair First. (product recommendations)

What is the difference between the "quick ship" model and the regular model?
The "quick ship" is the same, original Noguchi Table- just available to ship in 5 days! The Noguchi Table with a black base is ready to ship in 5 days, and the other Noguchi Table options are available to ship in 4 – 6 weeks.

Do you have a furniture protector for Setu legs?
I have a Setu chair with castors and the cast alloy base. The base is quite rough and is scratching/rubbing on my wooden cabinets and other surfaces in my office leaving marks and scratches. Do you have some sort of protective cap that can snap in the ends to protect this?

Unfortunately, the Setu Chair does not have any bumpers or caps to attach on the base.

Currently, we do not offer the plastic or fiberglass chairs with the upholstered seats. We are excited to announce that the fiberglass and upholstered versions will be available this Spring 2014.

The distance from the floor to the top of the seat cushion is 17 inches. The distance from the floor to the top of the arm rests is 23.5 inches.

Can the bikini pads be ordered separately? Can the standard glides be ordered separately ?
I would like to see close a close-up detail of both the bikini leather pads and the standard glides online, to view the quality of the workmanship. I have 3 original eiffel tower / black wire chairs that need black glides and pads replaced as close to the original design. What do the standard glides look like?

When will the other Base/Frame Finish and Back Finishes be out?
I know there were other colors for the frame and back finish. Will all these be out in March?
The next set of Mirra 2 Butterfly Back colors (Twilight, Urban Orange, Alpine, and Lime Green) are planned for May 2014. The H-Alloy base is planned for June.
