Eames Molded Plastic Armchair with Wire Base
Designers: Charles and Ray Eames. A classic piece of mid-century furniture. The first mass-produced plastic chair. And as stylish today as it was when it was designed in 1948. A multitude of color choices can be paired with either a chrome or black base.
Is the Eames Molded Plastic Armchair made in the USA?
Yes - our Eames Molded Plastic Armchairs are made in the USA. All shells and bases are manufactured, finished and assembled in the Midwest.
When the chair was originally introduced in 1948, the shells were made of fiberglass-infused plastic. We now use 100% recyclable polypropylene, which is a more ecological supportable material for the chair shells. We also moved the manufacturing of the chairs back to the USA, where it is today, to reduce our manufacturing footprint.

Designer: Konstantin Grcic for Magis. Whatever use you have in mind for it, Table_One will come through beautifully—as a dining table, conference table, or desk. Looks great paired with Chair_One, but honestly—it looks good with almost anything. The table frame and legs are anodized aluminum and the high-pressure laminate top is white.
Is this the only size?
I would like a table 90-96' x 42".
On the Herman Miller Store, we offer Table_One in the 63" x 40" size. Through our Herman Miller authorized retailers, we also offer the following sizes:
- 40" x 40"
- 87" x 40"
The 87" x 40" option for Table_One would be the closest size we have to 90 - 96" x 42." Several of our tables are around 80" wide, such as the Tavolo XZ3 and Deja-vu Table.

Mirra Chair

I am looking for the wonderful Mirra chair at the Hilton Garden Inn. It is a different back support than any thing I see on your web site. The link on the Hilton web site is not working.

It includes adjustable lumbar support, which is designed to fit the curve of your back while in the recline position. It will also support the small of your back while in the upright position. Attached is a picture of the back of the chair to help show the support.

About casters, sit-to-stand; and other varieties of finishes
There is a pdf brochure for the envelop desk that shows a desk with casters, but I don't see casters as an option on the online ordering. Is it possible to get a desk with casters?
The brochure also shows two sit-to-stand options. One single-stage, one double-stage. They are not shown on the online order form. Are these available? With casters?
The brodhure has lots of finishes, but the online ordering does not. Are other finishes available besides the four combinations on the online orderform?

Designers: Charles and Ray Eames. Graceful silhouette, innovative comfort features, timeless design. Obviously Eames. The high-backed lounge chair has a deep, comfortable “sitting pocket.� A matching ottoman is available, and the chair now has new finish and material options with a 4-star base.
fabric replacement
we have an old model (4 star base) with olive green fabric. How do I replace (or have replaced) the fabric? I also need two new arm-rest screws.

For the model with the pneumatic lift, you can adjust your seat height within the range of 19.5 inches to 23.5 inches. The lowest level of the lift is at 19.5 inches.

Thank you for your question. The recent trend of dark wash "vintage" denim and other dark textile dye processes has led dyes from the denim to transfer to lighter colored fabrics. While we had stringent testing standards during the development of Embody, the lighter fabrics are no longer able to repel these new dying methods. This recent trend is a cross-industry challenge effecting manufacturers everywhere. While we attempt to identify potential solutions we have placed a hold on select lighter colors, including the orange Balance fabric (Mango). We will be sure to let you know if we have any updates in the future.
