Designers: Charles and Ray Eames. A cushy cousin of the Aluminum Group, Soft Pad is a luxurious chair that bears the unmistakable Eames stamp. The Management chair is a low-back chair with or without arms. It’s now available with new finish colors and materials.
Does the seat have any markings on it to tell if it's real?
You can distinguish an authentic Eames Soft Pad Management Chair by looking for a fabric tag to be sewn into the cushion under the seat area if your chair was built in 2008 or later. It contains a Herman Miller logo, Eames Office logo and the Eames' signatures. Attached is an image of the tag.
If your chair was built prior to 2008, you should find a Herman Miller sticker in either black or silver under the seat cushion area.

Designer: Studio 7.5. Material innovation gives the Setu chair its unique combination of flex and strength. The Kinematic Spine uses two types of polypropylene to control resistance as you recline and support your weight, without a tilt mechanism. More structural element than textile, the Lyris 2 suspension seat and back conform to your contours and aerate your body as you sit comfortably.
Over time, will the Lyris suspension material stretch out and not offer the same support?
Our Lyris suspension fabric is designed for seating to bear a user's weight with the ability to recover after a user has left the chair. The material contains what is called an "elastomeric yarn," which contributes to long term comfort and support, as well as the stretch and recovery properties. It has been put through a variety of strenuous testing to ensure that the chair maintains its full support for a minimum of 12 years and does not stretch out over time. Along with the long-term durability, Lyris also provides air flow to keep you cool and works with the spine of the chair to evenly distribute your weight for comfort.

What is the seat height range for this chair?
I'm interested in this chair for my home office, but I'm 5'3" and like my seat around 17" or 18" high. Is that possible with this chair?

My Sayl Chair I just purchased has lumbar support, but that doesn't seem to be an online option. i am trying to help a friend fine one.
The SAYL chair design was inspired by the principles of suspension bridges. The frameless back of the SAYL office chair encourages a full range of movement, while keeping your back cool. Table Top Construction
Today I learned that the Nelson End Table top is made of pressed wood filler which is only visable when the table is turned over.
So the table looks great, but surprised at the use of pressed wood.
I'm curious to know if this was how the original 1954 table was constructed.

The original Nelson End Table was built in 1954 with a plywood core. Today the table is made with a particle board core, and can be ordered with either a black or white laminate top with a maple veneer edge.

Which works best for most people - the moveable lumbar pillow or the Posturefit?

All Aeron chairs come with a 12 year, 3 shift warranty.
Our warranty covers everything—including electrical components, casters, pneumatic cylinders, tilts, and all moving mechanisms. When warranty work is performed in the U.S. and Canada, Herman Miller foots the bill.
