Design's Reviews

Designer: George Nelson. What would you call it? Classic? Icon? Slice of fruit? More than half a century after we manufactured the first one, the chair we call the Coconut is as wonderful to look at—and sit in—as ever.

The coconut chair is a beautiful chair that is even more stunning in person. The shape is so simple and elegant and will age beautifully. It is made of high quality leather and the construction is solid.
The one downside is that while it is gorgeous, the comfort is nothing compared to the Eames Lounge. I wish there is a coconut chair ottoman, but unfortunately there is not.
