 Aeron Chair
Aeron Chair
Designers: Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick. Its the most well-known ergonomic office chair ever made. With good reason. As the first to replace fabric and foam with a breathable, woven suspension membrane—its innovative Pellicle seat and back—Aeron distributes your weight evenly, eliminating pressure points and heat buildup. The Kinemat tilt lets you recline fluidly, and PostureFit puts support where you need it most while seated—at the base of your spine.

After testing both the Aeron and Embody I choose this model for the following reasons. I liked the ability to tilt forward for tasks on the computer, the vented seat and back prevents heat buildup like allot of chairs, and lastly the air ride per say.
With this in mind you should only get the unit with the back support option and in the larger size C which seems to work great for large and small people.
What I LikeWarranty, ventilated back and set, forward tilt ability, easy adjust side to side arms, back support option
What I Dislikearm adjustments are to short, arm pads should be changed to embody models, no locking ability for tilt adjustments, limited back support
Yes, I recommend this product.

Designers: Bill Stumpf and Jeff Weber. Form doesnt just follow function with Embody. Function is on full display. This ergonomic office chairs highly technical structures—such as the spine-like Backfit, with its visible H-flexors—show how it bends to encourage seated movement. Embody is purposeful design that creates harmony between your mind and body, and between your body and work.

The chair is very comfortable and cradles your back when you sit in the chair. I loved the extra large arm rests and how the chair will pivot as you lean back and forth.
The downside is the chair does not have the ability like some of your other models to permit the chair to lift forward for work with computers and the arms need to have a longer range for adjustment.
What I LikeWarranty, Available Features, large arm rests, pivoting chair as you lean back, adjustable leg support
What I Dislikeno forward tilt option, arms do not adjust for enough range
Yes, I recommend this product.

The Aeron series has PostureFit. Does the Embody Chair have something equivalent?

Yes there is a dial on the back that allows you to for lack of better term form fit the chair to your back. Both are great chairs but, if you are looking for comfort the Embody is the better of the two. The Aeron is more of a computer task chair that you should only buy with the posture fit option.

Embody or Aeron Chair

I spend about fourteen hours a day in front of the computer. I am 6'2, 230 lbs. Which chair would best fit my needs: The Aeron or the Embody Chair?
That is a hard choice. I tested both and I finally decided on the Aeron chair. Also you should always buy the C size option with back support.

The Aeron has the ability to tilt forward to support leaning forward into a computer. However, the Embody is far superior in comfort and elbow room compared to the Aeron. If you do not need to tilt forward to the computer then go with the Embody chair.

Here is what I did if you do not have a dealer in your area, you can buy both and test them for 30 days and then return the one that you like the least.
