Designers: Studio 7.5. A happy union of seemingly incompatible concepts: More support and less material. High performance and attractive price. Fewer adjustments and better fit. Does more and requires less.
The Mirra chair is a solid and good quality chair. However, I had to return it due to a few things. First, I am 5 foot 8 and 140lbs in toned condition. I don't have much body fat, so little things tend to rub or poke me.
That said, I found the chair back and seat to rub me and not have enough cushion. The seat support of the Mirra and Mirra 2 is fine and the airweave is a good design, but it needs a breathable soft fabric cover over it so the fine mesh doesn't poke you. Same for the back, but mine did not have the fabric cover so I can't address if that would help or not.
The arms tend to push in/out too easy and does so when not wanted if pressed a certain way when sitting. This causes unwanted movement when you want them to remain fixed. Needs another lock to prevent this like the up/down lock on it now.
Overall, I did like the chair, even better than the Embody for how it feels in general, but they need to put more padding for a seat cover and perhaps the back and it would be fine.
What I LikeWarranty, Available Features, Color Choices, Ergonomic, back support
What I Dislikerecline adjustment tension knob needs to be better, seat airweave needs a fabric cover

is the adjustable lumbar support worth the extra cost
Is it necessary to add the adjustable lumbar support? also what is the difference between Mirra 1 and Mirra 2?
